Mammals

Unknown (1).jpeg

Our mammals our often elusive creatures, but bring great joy when seen. Mammal recording throughout Wharfedale is patchy at best. We want to improve our knowledge of their distribution by hearing about your sightings. That might be , for example, hares boxing on a spring morning, a hedgehog snuffling in a hedgerow as it searches for food, or the flash of a fox as it darts across as road. All sightings help us build that bigger picture of wildlife in Wharfedale.
